Reservations General

The Reservations Office is open from 9am to 9pm daily.

All bookings are confirmed in writing via Email or Post. If you have not received one of these, you may not have a valid room booking. No provisional bookings will be held.

Please check the details on the confirmation prior to arrival to avoid any confusion with dates or room details.

To prevent any potential loss due to cancellations we do stress the importance of taking out travel insurance to protect you against unforeseeable situations that can arise.

General Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are to be made by phoning, faxing or by emailing the hotel directly and you will receive a cancellation confirmation via e-mail. If you have not received a written cancellation confirmation, your reservation is still standing and you will be liable to the applicable charges.

Standard cancellation policy is by 2pm 3 Days prior to arrival. In the event of late cancellation your credit/debit card will be charged 75% of the full stay of your accommodation that you have reserved, however we do strive to re-let rooms. If we re-let all or part re-let the rooms we will refund the difference to the same card and notify you via e-mail.

Please note that reservations during peak trading times or reservations of 3 or more room nights may be subject to variation in cancellation policy. Please check your written confirmation for the cancellation policy applicable to your booking.

Cancellation following Non-Arrival

In the event of a Non-Arrival your credit card will be charged for the full duration of your accommodation that you have reserved. If you og0-091 dumps
1Z0-071 dumps have not checked in or contacted the hotel by phone to reconfirm that you still intend to arrive before 8am the morning after your confirmed arrival date, we will assume your reservation is cancelled and the rooms may be re-let. If we re-let all or part re-let the rooms we will refund the difference to the same card and notify you via e-mail.

Group Bookings

For group bookings of 3 or more rooms a separate cancellation policy applies, please contact the hotel directly. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Hen/Stag Parties.

Booking Deposits

Please note that where a deposit is required, your credit/debit card will be charged a non-refundable booking deposit as itemised during the booking process. This charge will appear on your credit/debit card statement under Apsley House Ltd. Where reservations are guaranteed with credit/debit card, your card may be checked with a pre-authorisation prior to arrival.

We only accept Cheque payments, where sufficient time for clearance has been allowed.

Commissions for Travel Agencies

Commission will only be paid out if this has been agreed in writing prior to booking rooms, and this will apply to full room rates.  Excludes Weekends.

Reservations made via Other Sources

Bookings made via other sources including travel agents, tour operators or other website booking agents may be subject to different policies, please refer to your confirmation for details. Please cancel your reservation, directly via your travel agents, tour operators or website booking agents.

Rates, Rules and Restrictions

Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you choose to depart early the room price will be subject to change, or a cancellation charge incurred.

We do not accept pets, unless for the purpose of “Seeing”or “Hearing”, which must be certified and registered as Guide Dogs.

Any animals left in cars will be reported to the police and the RSPCA.

All lost and found items are held on site for three months, thereafter handed to Charities or disposed of.

We will post your items to you, however there will be £10 or £15 handling charge depending on item size.

We are a Non-Smoking property. Any person found to have Smoked or Smoking in the Bedrooms or any of the public areas will be subjected to a £150 fee, for possible loss of revenue and deep cleaning.


We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage of property or vehicles left in our car park.


While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all material on this website the hotel does not accept direct, indirect or consequential liability for loss or damage to your property.

We do NOT pass any details provided or share details of our guests to other/third parties.


We provide a free wireless internet service to all in-house guest. We do not accept responsibility for charges incurred during usage this service when logging on to a different service provider. We do recommend that you check your connection to our network and NOT your default provider. Nor do we accept responsibility for any software or spyware downloaded during you stay.
